Democrats All-In For Hillary; Gen. Clark and Sen. Nelson Energize Tampa Activists

Keynote speaker Wesley Clark, a retired four-star general and former presidential candidate in 2004,  after his talk to more than 350 people who attended  the Hillsborough County Democratic Executive Committee 2016 Kennedy-King Dinner in Tampa Saturday evening.  The former NATO Supreme Allied Commander’s offered  unequivocal support for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, stressed the importance of supporting NATO allies and provided a riveting account of being wounded under enemy fire during the Vietnam War.

State Rep. Darryl Rouson, left, and Florida U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson Saturday evening at the Hillsborough County Democratic Executive Committee 2016 Kennedy-King Dinner.  In a short talk, Florida’s senior senator was upbeat about Election Day in November for Democrats.  The “election is like driving a car.  If you want to go forward, you put it in D.  If you want to go backwards, you put it in R.”  Nelson also predicted that “Hillary will win Florida by a substantial margin.”
