2017 Grammys: Beyonce’s Night?

Top nominees at tonight’s Grammys include Kanye West, Drake, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Adele. But Beyonce leads the pack, with nine nominations:

  • Album of the Year (Lemonade)
  • Record of the Year (“Formation”)
  • Song of the Year (“Formation”)
  • Best Urban Contemporary Album (Lemonade)
  • Best Music Video (“Formation”)
  • Pop Solo Performance (“Hold Up”)
  • Rock Performance (“Don’t Hurt Yourself,” with Jack White)
  • Urban Contemporary Album (Lemonade)
  • Best Rap Performance (“Freedom,” with Kendrick Lamar)

Beyonce has already won 20 Grammys and 24 MTV Music Video Awards. She’s the second-most-Grammy-winning female artist after Alison Krauss (with 27 Grammys). If Beyonce wins at least eight of the nine awards she’s nominated for, she’ll become the winningest female artist in Grammy history.
