A conversation featuring curator Nathan Beard and photographer Robin Perry Dana about their interesting work with the traveling photographic exhibit called “Triangulate” is set for Friday evening in Tampa at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts.

The exhibit,  which features 27 photographs by nine international  artists from China, Norway and the USA, “explores the contemporary human relationship to land and home through their lenses,” Mr. Beard said.

“Triangulate”,  a concept developed by Mr. Beard with co-curators Eivind Natvig and Kirk Ke Wang, opened at the Dunedin Fine Art Center in June and runs through Sunday (Aug. 12).  The exhibit is schedule to travel next year to venues in Norway and China.

“The exhibition’s international reach seeks to make visual and conceptual connections that help to expand our notion of home to include the global community,” according to FMOPA.

On Friday at FMOPA  “I will be in conversation as curator with the only local photographer in the exhibit, Robin Perry Dana. In many ways, her work laid the foundation for the exhibition . . .” Mr. Beard, an accomplished fine artist, said.

The conversation about “Triangulate” will focus on Ms. Dana’s photographic project White Clay.  “The discussion will address a variety of topics raised by “Triangulate’s”  unifying theme of the human relationship to land, including unique personal environments, shared universal perspectives and global awareness,”  according to an announcement by FMOPA.

The conversation event is from 5 to 7 p.m. at FMOPA, 400 N Ashley Dr., Cube 200.
