A fundraiser for educational programs and exhibitions at The University of Tampa’s Scarfone/Hartley Gallery is set from 7 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 8.

The downtown Tampa gallery’s second annual Art on the Boulevard cocktail party and fundraiser event includes a chance drawing ($5 per chance) to win unique special-edition prints by renowned local and international contemporary artists such as Sedrick Huckaby, Mickett/Stackhouse, Pedro Pablo Oliva, Larry Poons and Maxwell Taylor.

Each year, UT honors one of the gallery’s most “valiant supporters. This year’s honoree is Jack King, UT professor of art, who has been a longtime Friend of the Gallery as both a UT student and as a 25-year faculty member at UT,” according to the university.

Tickets are $50 per person and $100 for two tickets. Each ticket includes an annual membership to the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery. The two-ticket package also includes a special-edition 2019 Friends of the Gallery print made by Caitlin Albritton. Tickets must be purchased in advance at https://squareup.com/store/scarfone-hartley-gallery-university-of-tampa.

All Art on the Boulevard ticket sales and chance drawing proceeds will support the gallery’s exhibitions and educational programming, such as Camp SpARTan.

“All that the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery does for UT students and the Tampa Bay community is made possible because of our loyal friends and supporters,” said Jocelyn Boigenzahn, gallery director.
