‘Illuminating Tranquility’ Opens March 1 in Tampa

“Endless Reverie, Wayside Series, Study 13” by Lisa Fitch/via the TECO Public Art Gallery

A solo exhibition, “Illuminating Tranquility,” by fine art photographer Lisa Fitch opens on March 1 at the TECO Public Art Gallery in downtown Tampa.

Illuminating Tranquility” is a collection of stories from experience.  “The natural world can mean different things to different people. For some, it’s a place of inspiration and awe. For others, it’s an escape.  For photographer Lisa Fitch, the natural world is a place for personal solace — a place to reflect upon her memories of a life buffeted by family illness, loss and the chaotic environment of today’s world,” according to a release from the gallery.

Ms. Fitch will host a talk and tour of her exhibition from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on April 26.  The tour and the exhibit, which runs through April 30,  are both free of charge and open to the public.

The gallery, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,  is located at 702 North Franklin Street in downtown Tampa.  For more information about the gallery, contact Debra Radke, curator, at dradke2@gmail.com.  Ms. Fitch can be reached at upagallery.com.
