Photographer and educator Len Bernstein kicks off a new lecture series by The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the downtown Tampa museum.
“The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is absolutely thrilled to bring a photographer of Len Bernstein’s magnitude to the Tampa Bay region,” said Zora Carrier, Ph.D, the executive director of FMoPA. “His aptitude in photography is unparalleled and his works an absolute inspiration to all photographers and photography fans alike.”
FMoPA’s Master Lecture Series brings prominent people from the world of photography to Tampa Bay. Mr. Bernstein’s presentation on Sunday will include two talks, each about two of America’s acclaimed photographers, Jacob Riis and Edward Weston.
Mr. Bernstein will also offer two individual portfolio reviews, and attendees of either the lecture, portfolio reviews – or both – will be invited to participate in a private dinner event with the New York-based photography master, Dr. Carrier said.
