Where “The 1%” Goes to College: Florida Edition

The New York Times has created an interactive graphic that tells you what percentage of students from “the 1 percent” attend any college or university in the country. The graphic also tells you what percent of a college’s student body comes from the bottom 60 percent of the income distribution.

In terms of Tampa Bay universities, Eckerd tops the list, with 7.4 percent of its student body coming from the 1 percent, which is defined as a family that makes at least $630,000 per year.
