“Colors & Abstractions,” the art exhibition in Tampa by Leslie Jeffery, runs through Dec. 31 at the Carrollwood Cultural Center, 4537 Lowell Road. The well-attend opening of the show was Friday evening (Nov. 10).

“I do love color,” Ms. Jeffery said, “and that is evident” in “Insecapable,” a diptych, by the artist.  “Jewel tones in bold strokes dominate.”

Ms. Jeffery is showing 44 pieces at her solo exhibition. The center, which is located in New Carrollwood just off South Village Drive, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon, plus additional hours for special events.
