For more than 60 years, Tony Bennett has been one of America’s favorite singers. Thursday evening, Bennett delighted his Tampa Bay audience with a nearly two-hour concert, including multiple encores. Bennett, who has won 19 Grammy Awards, has made Tampa Bay an annual stop on his never-ending world tour. Concert-goers relished hearing tunes that Bennett himself made famous, including “Steppin’ Out with my Baby” and “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.” The 90-year-old singer is also a talented painter with a permanent collection in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.
