Tickets for the Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience with The
Florida Orchestra are now on sale, according to the orchestra.
The one-night-only concert, conducted by Martin Gellner, is at 8 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the downtown St. Petersburg Mahaffey Theater, 400 First Street South.
“Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience is a deeply moving odyssey through the heart of the Mississippi Delta, where the blues was born. Guided by the legendary voice of Hollywood icon and Mississippi son Morgan Freeman, this immersive musical performance fuses the raw power of authentic Delta Blues with the grandeur of a symphony orchestra,” the orchestra said.
