2016: A Sad Year for ’80s Kids

Stereo Williams at Slate notes the wretched year ’80s kids have had in 2016. “We’ve lost our Princes and now our Princess,” he writes. In addition to the death of The Artist and Carrie Fisher, ’80s kids recently lost pop star George Michael, whose “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” and “Faith” helped provide the soundtrack to the Reagan years.
