As the polls tighten, the presidential race takes a positive turn for former President Donald Trump.
The latest Wall Street Journal national survey reveals Trump edging ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris by 2 percentage points. This compares with a Harris lead of 2 points in the newspapers August survey.
This shift isn’t isolated; a Fox News poll also confirms Trump’s 2-point lead, overturning Harris’s earlier advantage. Moreover, Marquette Law School found a tied race, compared with a six-point lead for Ms. Harris in August. Other surveys reveal a shrinking Harris lead.
These trends suggest a hotly contested finish as both candidates grapple for every vote in the run-up to Election Day.
