American audiences remained dedicated to streaming in 2023.
A year-end analysis by Nielsen, a media research firm, revealed the amount of time Americans spent watching streaming services on their television sets went up by 21 percent compared to the previous year. Lots of streaming options: Nearly one million television shows and movies across more than 90 streaming platforms were available. It’s notable that much of the content viewed was from reruns.
“Suits” is a good example. The show aired from 2011 to 2019 and was a hit on Netflix.
