On March 20, 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono were married. After their wedding in Gibraltar, they staged a “Bed-In” for peace in Amsterdam. The duo would stage another “Bed-In” in Montreal in June, where they would record “Give Peace a Chance” live in their hotel room. Lennon and Ono met in 1966, and began a relationship two years later. In 1975, Ono gave birth to their son, Sean. The couple had separated but later reunited, and Ono was with Lennon on the night he was murdered in 1980.
