For the first time in Florida history registered Republican voters outnumber Democrats.
But Floridians have been reliably electing Republicans since the mid-1990s Republicans have held the majority in the Florida Senate since 1995 and the state House since 1997.
Every elected Florida governor since Jeb Bush in 1998 has been a Republican.
Today, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis ably leads a state where both U.S. senators, the attorney general and chief financial officer are elected Republicans. Agriculture Commissioner is the only statewide office held by a Democrat.
Good ideas by Republicans win elections. Like former Republican U.S. Senator Connie Mack’s: “Less taxes, less spending, less government and more freedom.”
