The Sunshine Protection Act, sponsored by Florida Senator Rick Scott, will finally end this outdated practice, making Daylight Saving Time permanent.
The American people love having an extra hour of sunlight, especially in Florida, where that means more time to enjoy an evening outdoors and activities with families.
Congress should act swiftly to simplify our lives and pass this common sense law. It’s time to lock the clock and embrace the Sunshine.
