The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is accepting submissions to its second annual Wine and Say Cheese Exterior Sign competition.
The fee for the first submission is $20, and $10 for any additional ones. Photographers can submit as many photos as they like. All the art work submitted will be reviewed by the museum staff, in order to “expose the most appropriate for the exhibition,” which does not have a theme, according to the museum.
The museum recommends participants submit their work early since spots in the competition are limited. Submissions will be accepted through May 31. To enter, go to Wine & Say Cheese.
“I am so excited to bring back this innovative call for entries,” said FMoPA Executive Director Zora Carrier, PhD. “This year’s competition will be full of even more extraordinary entries. FMoPA is proud to introduce new photographic art with the collaboration of all the participants on this exhibition, and it is a pleasure for the museum to introduce new art to the Tampa community.”
Winning images will be displayed on FMoPA’s exterior LED sign in downtown Tampa, Dr. Carrier said.
FMoPA, located at 400 North Ashley, Cube 22, is dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. The dontown Tampa museum collects, preserves and exhibits historic and contemporary works by nationally and internationally known photographic artists.
