The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in Tampa is now accepting submissions through April 13 for its International Photography Competition, the museum announced.
“All styles and levels of experience are welcome” for FMoPA’s 8th annual competition, said museum Executive Director Zora Carrier, PhD.
The winning photographs, selected by a jury and announced on May 4, will be printed and framed by FMoPA and exhibited in the museums Community Gallery from June 1 through July 23, Ms. Carrier said.
The formal opening reception for the event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on June 22 at the museum, located downtown at 400 N Ashley Drive.

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. FMoPA is one of about 10 museums in the United States dedicated exclusively to photography and one of two such museums in Florida.
