In 2014, photographer Kieran Dodds took a series of portraits of redheads in Scotland for a project called Gingers. After looking at a map of red-hair distribution and finding another hotspot (Russia), Dodds created a new collection.
This new series of redhead portraits — from two regions increasingly at odds with each other politically — will be exhibited at the Flow International Photography festival at the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery Sept. 8-31.
