After a 3 hour and 59 minute show on Aug. 25, setting a new record for Bruce Springsteen and his legendary E Street Band in the United States, the band broke their own new record by playing a 4 hour and 1 minute show on Aug. 30. The shows came as part of Springsteen’s anniversary tour for his classic 1980 album The River. Digging deep into his vast repertoire of songs, Springsteen dished up old favorites like “Rosalita” while surprising fans with seldom-played songs like the epic “New York City Serenade.” Springsteen and the E Street Band have built a reputation for playing long shows over the years, with concerts regularly clocking in at three and half hours. The tour will wrap in mid-September.
