For the past four decades, the left-leaning municipal government has been crafting creative ways for the city to become less dependent on fossil fuels and traditional sources of energy. The payoff comes in a variety of forms. As climate change reshapes the environment, Burlington will be ready. Additionally, homegrown food is making the tourists happy.
