Travel and Leisure recently ranked the top 100 hotels in the world, and Florida claimed four of the spots.
The magazine notes: “Every year for our World’s Best Awards survey, T+L asks readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe — to share their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Hotels were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value. Hotels were classified as City or Resort based on their locations and amenities.”
No. 95 on the list, with a score of 95.38, was Little Palm Island Resort & Spa in Little Torch Key.
The highest-scoring Florida hotel, ranking No. 42 in the world, was Gasparilla Inn & Club in Boca Grande, with a score of 96.43.
