Paul McCartney

Music legend Paul McCartney has added new shows to his 2017 One On One tour, including Monday, July 10 at Amelie Arena in downtown Tampa. This is the first time McCartney will be in the bay area since The ‘US’ Tour in 2005.
McCartney, famous for his iconic work with The Beatles and more recently as a solo artist, has been on tour since April, 2016. The One On One tour has already logged 36 shows and counting, including performances in North and South America, the UK, Europe and Japan. Venues have ranged from packed stadiums and arenas to one of the most intimate gigs of Paul’s solo career to date – the 300 capacity Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace in tiny Pioneertown, CA.
In this tour, McCartney brings out special guests, sometimes paying homage to the city or region where he is performing. Guests have included Neil Young, Rihanna and Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic in Seattle, Jimmy Fallon in Vancouver, and both Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski at Boston’s Fenway Park.
McCartney will be joined on the tour by his band of the last 10-plus years: Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums)
As with any Paul McCartney tour, One On One features dozens of classic songs, and hits from Paul’s solo career and as a member of Wings. McCartney’s show will include state of the art audio and video, massive screens, lasers and fireworks.
