On Saturday at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m., you can take an etching class at Duncan McClellan Gallery in St. Pete. “Come for the basics of etching,” the DMG website notes. “Etch your own plate, wineglass, beer stein, lanterns, and more … with fun images and shapes. This is a fun way to spend creative time with friends, colleagues, and family!”
The two-hour workshop, designed for both groups and individuals, teaches the basics of etching on glass, from designing and cutting out stencils to the finished product. The classes run every third Saturday of the month.
The cost is $35 for the glass and $60 for the lantern.
