‘Three Graces’ at Bern’s Park in South Tampa

Bern’s Park on South Howard Ave in Tampa features a life-sized sculpture by the artist Karoy/Photo by AliveTampaBay

The grand reopening of Bern’s Park was just over seven years ago in a ceremony which included  Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, the Laxer family and others.

The park, which is located at  1400 South Howard Ave., underwent extensive  renovations including brick-lined walkways and curved brick walls, benches, decorative fencing, signage, fountain, and landscaping.

The Laxer Family donated the ‘Three Graces,’ a life-sized sculpture by the artist Karoy.  A plaque, with text honoring Bern Laxer, was written by the Laxer family and is on display.
