Denise Brown today presented a check for $10,000 from the recent Brooke’s Butterfly Bash fundraiser, which raises awareness for Lupus, to the Tampa General Hospital Foundation. In its fifth year, the annual event also benefits the Florida Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America. Ms. Brown, event host, has said that funds raised will help childen and families in our local community who are battling Lupus. Her daughter, Brooke Brown, age 18, passed away five years ago from complications of Lupus/Photo by AliveTampaBay.
