A Lifetime of Achievement

Former Florida Gov. Bob Martinez received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the Republican Party of Hillsborough County at the party’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner. The governor was first elected Mayor of Tampa in 1979 before serving as the 40th governor of Florida starting in 1986. His long record of public service inlcudes the Preservation 2000 land acquisition program as governor. Preservation 2000 became the largest government conservation land acquisition program in the nation/Photo by AliveTampaBay
