Gov. DeSantis Honors Sen. Rouson in Mental Health Bill Signing

Gov. Ron DeSantis and Sen. Darryl Rouson at the podium today in Tampa. Gov. DeSantis signed Senate Bills 1620 and 168 to expand mental health and substance abuse treatment across Florida. The governor announced that the Florida Mental Health Institute at the University of South Florida will be renamed the Senator Darryl E. Rouson Center for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Research in honor of Rouson’s longtime advocacy and leadership on these critical issues.
