Vice President J.D. Vance is leading the charge to root out government fraud. The numbers are staggering. The Trump administration says it has uncovered an estimated $230 billion in waste and fraud and already stopped another $56 billion from going out the door.
That’s real money. Your money. The new Task Force to Eliminate Fraud coordinates federal efforts to protect taxpayers and make sure benefits reach the Americans they were intended to help.
Now it’s Congress’s turn. Lawmakers should strengthen oversight and accountability for federal benefits programs so taxpayer dollars go to the people who truly need them.
