Hurricane Irma threw a wrench in a lot of plans – businesses closed, people fled, and events were cancelled, including Leslie Joy Ickowitz’s LoveLife exhibition.

But with all of the storm’s havoc, there came a bright side: Ickowitz had more time to plan.

“With a bit of extra time leading up to the show, I may or may not have a little something special up my sleeve,” Ickowitz said with an added “wink wink.”

The new opening date of the LoveLife exhibition is on Oct. 14 at 5-9 p.m at The Studio@620, which also happens to be Ickowitz’s grandmother’s birthday.

“That,” Ickowitz said, ”paired with all the great energy in downtown St. Petersburg for Second Saturday Artwalk that day, should make it a stellar time to celebrate LoveLife!”
