Guests celebrate the “warmth and spirit of an old-fashioned holiday” and enjoy live music, complimentary cookies, and cider at the Victorian Christmas Stroll at the Henry B. Plant Museum, 401 W. Kennedy Blvd. near downtown Tampa.   The live music is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Victorian Christmas Stroll transforms the museum with magnificent Christmas trees, 40,000 lights, and hundreds of feet of garland.  Decorations include vintage fashions, antique toys, locally sourced cigar boxes, and fanciful ornaments.

The 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel, now a National Historic Landmark, is home to The University of Tampa and the Henry B. Plant Museum.

Admission at the door for the annual event, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Dec. 23. Proceeds from the Victorian Christmas Stroll fund museum restoration and preservation projects, as well as educational programming.
