The well-received new exhibit by artist Leslie Jeffery at the TECO PUBLIC ART GALLERY continues through April 30 at the downtown Tampa gallery located at 702 N Franklin Street.

Three of Ms. Jeffery’s paintings were sold at the recent opening  reception of “For The Birds,” a solo exhibition of 20 avian themed paintings by the artist.   The paintings sold were “Five Eggs,” “Flagrance of Flamingos” and “Heron’s Nest.”

Ms. Jeffery, primarily an abstract expressionist style painter, said she “returns often to an alternate oeuvre of birds and nests.”

The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.    Debra Radke, gallery curator, can be reached at dradke2@gmail.com. — Greg C. Truax, Publisher
