Who should be the Democratic nominee for President?

Well, it depends on who you ask.  It’s obvious that President Biden’s re-election bid is a tale of two factions.

Democratic Party officials,  campaign operatives and Democratic elected officials – the Democratic establishment – all rally around the president.

But poll after poll after poll reveal doubts about the President.  A recent CNN poll, for example, shows that a whopping 67 percent of Democrats would prefer President Biden not be his party’s nominee.

The age of the President is the issue for rank and file Democrats.  Mr. Biden will be 82 on Inauguration Day.
