High Marks for Florida’s governor.
A statewide survey by the polling firm, Cygnal, shows Floridians overwhelmingly approve of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ handling of the Covid-19 pandemic and vaccine distribution.
In the online poll, 60.3 percent approve of the governor’s handling of the pandemic while 71.5 percent approve of the state’s vaccine distribution.
54.8 percent of those surveyed have a favorable opinion of Governor DeSantis, higher than the 49.4 percent favorable opinion of President Biden.
The survey of 800 likely voters was from April 8 – 11 — before the end of a successful state legislative session for the governor, which produced significant wins for Floridians.
