An exhibit called “The Stars and Stripes in American History and Culture” continues through July at the Tampa Bay History Center in downtown Tampa.

The “Stars and Stripes,”  which is based on one of the preeminent collections of American flags in the world, features “textiles, artwork and memorabilia exploring the history and context of the American flag,” according to the history center located at 801 Old Water Street.  Andy Warhol’s iconic print “Moonwalk” is featured along with original flags dating to the 1790s, in addition to original photography and artwork.

The exhibit is presented by Bank of America.  The history center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  For more information contact the Tampa Bay History Center.
