This morning, on the recommendation of a Tampa friend, I got breakfast at Bombobar: a chocolate lover’s paradise. Located on West Randolph Street, Bombobar serves coffee, donuts, gelato … and one of the best chocolate drinks you’ll ever experience.
It’s called the S’Mores. Here are just a few of the toppings on this magical, mystical drink:
- Whipped cream
- Caramel sauce
- Chocolate sauce
- Chocolate crisps
- Graham crackers
- Hershey bar bites
- A mini donut (playfully hooked to the straw)
I say “a few of the toppings” because some of the ingredients are a trade secret and cannot be revealed to tourists.
The next time you’re in Chicago, make time for Bombobar. It’s an experience no true chocolate lover could ever forget.
