George Edwards, a leading scholar of the presidency, will share his insights and perspective in this special event on Thursday, April 13.

Edwards has authored many articles and written or edited 25 books on American politics and public policy making. His latest book, Predicting the Presidency: The Potential of Persuasive Leadership shows how the answers to a few questions about the context of a presidency to predict a president’s success in winning support for his initiatives.

This program is one of the planned community conversations as part of the institute’s annual speaker series.
