Choosing Gwen Graham as his running mate was David Jolly’s first big mistake.
He needed to choose a progressive and choosing Graham, a former congresswoman, was a stick in the eye to them.
As much as he tries to run to showcase himself as a moderate, he is beholden to progressive Democrats and DSA, the Democratic Socialists of America.
The 40 percent of Democrats who did not vote for Jolly is much more indicative of a fractured Democratic Party than Donald’s 50 percent of Republicans who chose another candidate is of a fractured Republican Party.
Should he win, he won’t appoint one or two DSA members to run government: they will be the majority of who he appoints. He doesn’t have a choice. He has to make those promises to try to buy unity within his party.
That’s why Donald’s should go on offense and choose someone from Miami instead of going on defense and choosing someone from North Florida.
