In New Orleans, Jazz Fest Now In Full Swing

Street performers next to the celebrated Liuzza’s Lounge & Grill play for gratuities as music ends for the day at the The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which is now in full swing. The annual event, which started last Friday, concludes its first weekend of events on Sunday. Remaining fest days are April 28, 29, 30 and May 1.

Blues, funk, folk, rap, country, bluegrass, gospel, Cajun, Latin, and Afro-Caribbean music are all featured at the festival, which sprawls across two long weekends of music. This year’s festival, beginning on Friday and ending on Sunday, May 1, is no exception.
